我叫徐晓萱，刚满十六岁的我作为一个在菲律宾出生的土生土长的华人，深深地体验了这里的生活，感受到了菲律宾人的热情和体会了菲律宾的文化特色。小时候我对菲律宾充满了好奇，然而这份好奇心并没因为长大而减少，反而它将会成为专属于我对每件事情所保持的一份好奇心而埋下的种子。如今我已经在菲律宾生活了十六年，而在这里的每一年每一天我都在一点一点地探索、了解、体验菲律宾与其他地方的不同，也就是美丽的菲律宾特有的文化特色、风土人情。人生会有多少个十六年呢，我不敢笃定，但我坚信在接下来的每一个十六年，我一定会更加深入地了解、做更多地体验、吸取更多的知识。我一定会说到做到，因为我觉得我对这个世界的探索还远远不够，而对这世界的好奇也将随着时间的推移渐渐的增加。
My name is Xu Xiaoxuan. I just turned 16. As a Chinese born and raised in the Philippines, I have deeply experienced the life here, felt the enthusiasm of Filipinos and realized the cultural characteristics of the Philippines. When I was a child, I was full of curiosity about the Philippines. However, this curiosity has not decreased as I grew up. On the contrary, it will become the seed planted by my curiosity for everything. Now I have lived in the Philippines for sixteen years, and every year and day here, I am exploring, understanding and experiencing the differences between the Philippines and other places, which are the unique cultural characteristics and customs of the beautiful Philippines. I'm not sure how many sixteen years there will be in my life, but I firmly believe that in the next sixteen years, I will understand more deeply, experience more and absorb more knowledge. I will keep my word, because I feel that my exploration of this world is far from enough, and my curiosity about this world will gradually increase as time goes by.
