大家好！我叫褚安吉，但你可以叫我安吉丽。我今年13岁，来自新西兰首都惠灵顿。我是Chilton Saint James学校8年级的学生。我愿申请中国宋庆龄基金会“文化小大使”，为2022年北京冬奥会加油！我有很多爱好，唱歌、拉小提琴、舞台表演、游泳、踢足球，还有一个我和家人真正引以为豪的爱好，那就是学习中文。我从学习汉语中获得了无数宝贵的经验，使我越来越热爱汉语。
例如，我4岁半开始学习小提琴，此后我获得了许多奖项，演出次数更多；我的第一首演出作品是中国著名的音乐作品《赛马》；我很喜欢公开演讲。我定期参加当地的中文演讲比赛，并多次获奖；最近我还得到了一个机会，参加了一个在线合唱活动，与李玉刚先生一起表演《万疆》。
因为我妈妈是中国人，所以我去过中国很多次探亲访友。家人带我游览了很多景点，比如从首都北京到毛主席的家乡长沙；从古城西安到现代都市上海；从天堂杭州到中国最著名的山峰黄山。每一个地标，每一个乡村，每一个城市，都让我更加崇拜中国5000年的历史，它的山山水水，以及各种各样的文化和习惯。
伟大的中国人民热情而有爱心。56个民族连成一张绵延不绝的充满着爱的大网。这片土地继续让我惊叹，我非常自豪能成为这个大家庭的一员！
自从我开始上学以来，我一直是班长，小学学生会部长和中学学生会主席。我也是下哈特市议会组织的青少年议会的成员。除此之外，我还是当地社区团体的志愿成员。因此，我获得了许多机会，参加当地社区主办的各种推广中国文化的活动。同时，作为学校代表，我也欢迎来惠灵顿进行文化教育交流的上海学生。帮助他们了解新西兰文化，了解中国文化是如何在海外推广的。
我坚信我能承担起分享中国文化的使命。祝愿成为一名优秀的“文化小大使”，为2022年北京冬奥会加油！最后，请允许我预祝2022年北京冬奥会成功举办。我期待着很快回到中国，用我的所见所闻讲述许多精彩的中国故事。
Hello everyone! My name is Anji Chu, but you can call me Anjali. I am 13 years old and I am from Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand. I am a Year 8 student at Chilton Saint James School. I would like to apply for the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation “Junior Cultural Ambassadors” and cheer for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics! I have many hobbies, such as singing, playing the violin, performing on stage, swimming, playing football, and a hobby that my family and I are really proud of, that is, learning Chinese. I have obtained countless valuable experiences from learning Chinese, which made me love Chinese more and more.
For example, I started learning the violin at the age of 4 and a half, since then I have won many awards and have performed even more; my first performance piece was China's well-known musical composition "Racing Horses"; I like public speaking very much. I regularly participate in local Chinese speech contests and have won many awards; recently I also got an opportunity to participate in an online singing event, performing "Wan Jiang" with Mr. Li Yugang.
Because my mom is a Chinese, I have traveled to China many times to visit relatives and friends. My family took me to visit many scenic spots, from the capital city Beijing to Chairman Mao’s hometown Changsha; from the ancient city Xi’an to the modern city Shanghai; from paradise Hangzhou to China most well-known mountain Yellow Mountain. Each and every landmark, countryside and city view make me adore China’s 5000-year history, its mountains and rivers, and various cultures and habits even more.
Chinese people are enthusiastic and caring. 56 ethnic groups have formed an endless stream filled with love. This land continues to amaze me and I am very proud to be a member of this big family!
Since I started school, I have served as the class monitor, the head of the elementary school student union, and the chairman of the junior high school student union. I am also a member of the Youth Council, which is officially run by Lower Hutt City Council. Besides this, I am a volunteer at local community groups. As a result, I have received many opportunities to participate in various activities hosted by the local community to promote Chinese culture. At the same time, as a school representative, I have welcomed students from Shanghai who were visiting Wellington for a culture and education exchange programme, help them understand New Zealand cultures and understand how Chinese culture gets promoted overseas.
I strongly believe that I can undertake the mission of sharing Chinese culture. I wish to become an excellent “Junior Cultural Ambassador” and cheer for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics! Finally, please allow me to wish for the success of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. I look forward to returning to China very soon and using what I have seen and heard to tell many exciting and wonderful stories about China.
