China’s most treasured influential performer of folk music, Chen Jun has been called “the first contemporary Erhu player”. He has performed at home and abroad, including America, France, England, Russia, Canada, Australia, and India and has played solo erhu performances for famous political heads of states. He has gained soloist status in performances both domestic and overseas, performing at the Golden Hall in Vienna, the Lincoln Center, the Sydney Opera House, Argentina, and other world renowned art galleries and opera houses. He and Liu Ke are highly praised in the music industry, winning the reputation of “a pair of exotic flowers。”
